Laura Buchanan

Laura Buchanan is a gardener and a dried floral artist trying to capture the fleeting natural beauty of flowers for a moment, longer. Gathering flowers at the peak of their glow, as well as after the petals fall, and the seed heads and pods beauty of texture emerge.

Then drying them into their second life where color softens, petals curl and stems twist. Laura also adds to her work elements crafted from wool, felt and paper. Celebrating the softness, texture and imperfect charm of organic materials.
